Dirty Scoble?

I don't know what Robbie Von Scoble is up to on his link blog -- but my corporate net nanny (WebMarshall) doesn't like it!

I'm guessin either he's lost all his usual decency, or he's been hacked.

You gotta remember that Scoble doesn't write anything on his link blog. Heck, if I understand the technology right, he can't write anything. All those words are found in posts that he publishes that are authored by others.

In fact, it looks like most of those words came from the fingers of Hugh over at gapingvoid.com which isn't all that surprising. ;)

i tried a very simple technique for getting rid of webmarshall from my corporate web surfing experience -- and it has proved very successful to date.

I quit my job and went to another company.

This is a load of bs - theyve got Webmarshal at school now - Blocks incoming e-mails from foreign adresses, blocks sites i want to access (such as downloading torrents) and also blocks Vtunnel so i cant even get around it.

It's apparent no-one here really knows any way around it, but i'd just like to say that there should be. If anyone finds it (i know i'll be looking) they should post it here.

hey, umm well i think megaproxy.com basically works to get around webmarshal, unless your boss's/schools server installed the next higher version, which also blocks all redirectors and anonymous sites, which is completely gay, because me, being a highschool student, i cant check my email at school, and i need to sometimes...only because im bored but still...lol, but anyways, if that doesnt work then go to vtunnel, and if that doesnt work then give up because they have blocked all redirectors, which means their is no way to get around it, UNLESS you create your on website after webmarshal has been installed in the network, and your website is approved by it....then after it has been approved, edit your webpage, and add a redirecting script html on it, i think that is the only way to do it because than they wont recheck it, because it has already been approved, but make sure that you add the redirector on it at your own home, because it wont let you do it at your work/school...until it has been put on their.....THIS is just a theory of mine, and as i said i am a highschool junior who doesnt know how to write html, or make websites, let alone create a redirector, but i am sure some of you are smart enough too, not saying i am dumb though, i am very smart, i am just not into creating website.....which is why this is just an idea of mine, but i think it will work.
